Manfaat Kefir
Kefir mulanya telah dikonsumsi masyarakat pegunungan Kaukasus Utara, Rusia, dan telah dibuat masyarakat setempat selama lebih dari 1.400 tahun lalu. Konon, biji kefir diberikan oleh Nabi Muhamad kepada rakyat Caucasus, dan menjadi semacam ‘’pusaka’’ yang diwariskan turun-temurun.
